Working from home is all well and good until you notice it is Thursday and the last real conversation you had was with a delivery driver.

Sheung Wan is our most creative space. A lot of designers, developers and small agencies, enjoying our harbour views, terrace space and community vibes. For our latest , we sat down with Causeway Bay member Ryan Lao to hear how a founder who started out in tech came to spend his weeks mentoring international school students, often from three or four years before they graduate.

A few things stayed with us. Mentorship over test prep, with strategy shaped around what each student actually cares about. And a clear view on where teaching sits in an age of AI. In Ryan's words, "Teaching and inspiring people is human to human. I can inspire a kid a lot more than ChatGPT."

Our new location in Central has been filling up and the nicest part has been watching members from our other locations turn up for the day just to work from Duddell Street.

With the new space just a short walk from the banks, the law firms, the exchange and most of the meetings you would otherwise be crossing town for, it's been a hit with members across our spaces. Lunch, coffee and a client sitting down within ten minutes of your desk is hard to beat.
