May has been good to me.
It has taken me from a botanical garden in the Mexican desert to a cloud forest reserve in the Ecuadorian Chocó Andes. Two completely different worlds connected by one thing: the journey.
Like every transition, it has come with its share of stress. Projects put on hold, goodbyes and thank yous once again, stepping into a new environment, and facing the uncertainty that comes with change. Anxiety, excitement, fear, and anticipation all seem to travel together.
There have been airport problems, check-in issues, immigration delays, missed plans, and plenty of unexpected moments along the way. Just another chapter of life on the road.
What May has taught me more than anything is how to stay calm within the chaos.
I don’t have the luxury of not worrying about where money comes from. There is no guaranteed comfort waiting for me. Every step requires faith, hard work, and determination. But something unexpected happened this month.
I never realized how many people truly valued what I do, or what I’m trying to do.
The messages, support, encouragement, and people who have shown up when I needed it most have not gone unnoticed. Your belief in me means more than you know.
This journey isn’t always easy. It isn’t always comfortable. But it continues to remind me that there are good people everywhere, and for that I am grateful.
