Kaštelanac Famija 2021 is a blend of three sorts: Dobričić, Plavac mali and Zinfandel (Crljenak). 🍇

Yes, Dobričić is an authentic sort from Šolta, but did you know that Zinfandel, planetary popular grape variety, is also Croatian? Its origin is in Kaštela town (near Split) and that’s the reason why we also grow it in our vineyards.

We decided to put these three sorts into one blend because Dobričić was crossed with Crljenak Kaštelanski to produce the most famous grape in Croatia – Plavac Mali.
