🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that Ajoj has once again been awarded with the European Crafts Alliance (ECA) grant for the European Artistic Crafts Days 2025! 🎉

This year, the ECA received over 126 exciting applications from 29 countries across Europe.

The theme of this edition, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝, highlights the deep connections between craftspeople and their local communities. It celebrates how craftsmanship blends tradition and innovation, strengthens regional identity, fosters collaborations, and weaves the past into the present. ✨

For 2025, we have decided to focus on the youngest generation! We will be organizing participatory embroidery workshops with the elementary school children of Momjan, creating a unique embroidered masterpiece in collaboration with the talented illustrator Jana Kalc. 🎨🧵

U subotu smo sudjelovale na prvom izdanju festivala “La mula de Parenzo”, u sklopu kojeg je predstavljen novi suvenir Centra za posjetitelje . Radi se o ručno izvezenim jastučnicama inspiriranim porečkom mulom. Zahvaljujemo se Zavičajnom muzeju Poreštine i voditeljici Centra, , na gostoprimstvu i suradnji. ❣️

LA MULA DE PARENZO FESTIVAL
Ovaj festival je novi muzejski program čija je tema, odnosno inspiracija, lik iz pjesme “La mula de Parenzo”. Ideja za pokretanje festivala je proizašla iz želje njezine (re)interpretacije iz suvremenog stajališta, tematizirajući ženu poduzetnicu, kao što je uostalom, i u samom Interpretacijskom centru napravljeno. Nit vodilja za program bilo je pitanje, tko su danas “mule”, koji su njihovi kreativni pothvati, što ih pokreće.

Sinoć smo imale čast biti gošće u Rovinju u sklopu projekta 'Living Heritage Journey', koji je dio programa Kreativna Europa. Izuzetno smo zahvalne na prilici da prenesemo umjetnost veza na način koji je kreativan i održiv.

Last night, we had the honor of being guests in Rovinj for the 'Living Heritage Journey' project, part of Creative Europe. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to pass on the art of embroidery in a way that is both creative and sustainable.
