A strong pitch is not only about having a strong idea - it is about knowing how to communicate it, defend it and show why it matters.

As our HealthTech Adria Awards 2026 teams prepare to take the stage in Split, we wanted to make sure they had the opportunity to sharpen both their pitching and investment readiness skills.

A big thank you to Pinija Poljakoviฤ‡ and Dr. Luka Niฤ‡in for supporting our teams through two dedicated workshops ahead of the competition.

๐ŸŽค With Pinija, the teams worked on both the content and delivery of a strong pitch - from building a clear storyline and communicating the value proposition to stage presence, body language and audience engagement. The session also covered practical tips and tricks for managing nervousness, staying composed under pressure, controlling the voice and pace, and making those crucial few minutes on stage feel confident and natural.

๐Ÿ’ก With Luka, the conversation shifted to the investor perspective: what investors look for in an early-stage company, how founders can demonstrate investment readiness, what makes them want to continue the conversation after a pitch, and how to approach some of the tougher questions that may come during Q&A.

Beyond the presentations themselves, both sessions gave the teams space to ask questions, challenge their assumptions and receive practical advice they can immediately apply.

Thank you, Pinija and Luka, for sharing your experience so openly and for helping our founders arrive in Split better prepared for both the Healthtech Adria Conference stage and the conversations with investors that follow.
