If it drives a car - state you are driving both manual and automatic car, if so.

Many things are already written in the casting call, in the e-mail, in the script, in directors previous work. Research and read well.

What you hear:
“I’m already working. I have my contacts. People know me.”

What it actually means:
You are only visible to the people who already have your number.

A production changes. A new production coordinator comes in. Your usual contact retires, moves on, or simply isn’t available. Suddenly, nobody knows who you are.

The decode:
Being booked today ≠ being findable tomorrow.

What is the belief that often stops us in using all the existing tools to get a new project?

Sometimes it makes no sense, but the reality is that we changed, that we spend 8h on the screens, not 4h like we used to. Our concentration and attention is shorter, so also the perception changed.
