The Ariya NISMO, a fully electric vehicle from Nissan, will be launched on the European market in January 2025. With an output of 320 kW and a torque of 600 Nm, it offers an exciting driving experience. It builds on Nissan's NISMO experience and features e-4ORCE technology for increased stability and performance. The vehicle combines style and function with a sleek aerodynamic design, Formula E-inspired components, and a 40% improved lift coefficient.

The Ariya NISMO accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds and has adjustable steering for optimal handling at different speeds. The 22 kW on-board charger supports fast charging, making it ideal for use on the road. The model features a redesigned interior with suede-like sports seats, NISMO branding and red accents that create a luxurious and sporty ambience. The vehicle will be available in four colours, including the new NISMO Stealth Grey.

Highest Bungee Jump with a Car?


The Nissan Qashqai, a pioneer in the crossover segment for 17 years, has made headlines again by setting the world record for the highest bungee jump with a car. This stunt, part of a new TV campaign launching in September, aims to capture the adventurous spirit of the model's previous commercials.

Performed from a 65-meter-high platform with a professional stuntman onboard, the jump reflects Nissan's motto: Defy Ordinary! "At Nissan, we thrive on daring challenges that showcase our innovation and boldness," said Jérôme Biguet, Marketing Director of Nissan France.

The bungee jump was conducted in the Paris area by Nissan France in partnership with FUSE, Nissan United, and the BBC's technical team, and was validated by Guinness World Records.

The newly updated Nissan Qashqai is now available in Europe, showcasing a striking new exterior and a revamped interior, along with Google built-in for seamless access to Google Maps, Google Voice Assistant, and apps from the Google Play store.

„When I joined NRBS in 2021, I was motivated by an exciting opportunity: to build a new process from the ground up. At the time, NRBS had just launched its IT activities in support of the AMIEO region, and the offer to play a key role in building something new was one I couldn’t refuse. The idea of starting over, developing processes and being part of a growing team was exactly the kind of challenge I wanted to take on.

One of the things that immediately struck me when I joined Nissan was the supportive environment. At Nissan, everyone has to be able to do their best, and that’s only possible if there’s a culture of care and encouragement. We emphasize supporting each other - 'feel good, perform well' is not just a phrase here, it’s lived every day. This support is also a key factor in our recruitment process. We look for people who not only have the right skills, but also fit in well with our collaborative and diverse culture. Diversity is a top priority and I have always appreciated the care taken to ensure that everyone feels included and valued.

Now at NRBS I’m responsible for managing major issues, which is an incredibly complex area, especially given the size of the region we cover. The AMIEO region is huge, and supporting such a large number of complicated business processes brings with it a number of challenges. Managing major incidents is a 24/7 job, and it can be both mentally and physically draining. When an incident occurs, the pressure is on to resolve it quickly and effectively as so many systems and people depend on it. The stakes are high and every decision can have a big impact.

Despite these challenges, the trust I have received from my superiors and colleagues motivates me every day. I am lucky to work with a great team that supports each other through thick and thin. Knowing that my team has my back and that I am trusted to make important decisions helps me to cope with the daily pressures. It’s this combination of trust, teamwork and determination that makes even the toughest days worthwhile.

At Nissan, we recently organised a successful collection of school supplies among our colleagues, demonstrating our commitment to the community. The items collected were donated to the Red Cross Budapest which distributed them to students in need to ensure they have the necessary tools to succeed in their education.

The initiative received overwhelming support from NRBS employees, who were highly motivated and enthusiastic to contribute. Thanks to their generosity, many school supplies were collected, from notebooks and pens to backpacks and art supplies. This remarkable campaign reflects the team’s strong sense of solidarity and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of local children.

Nóra Varda, HR&GA Manager at Nissan, is a passionate advocate of environmental issues. As one of the team leaders of the Green Community Initiative, Nóra believes it is important that Nissan's commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development is also reflected in the Budapest office. She immediately sensed a great willingness among her colleagues to support this important cause.

This year, the Green Community Team has set out an ambitious plan focusing on four main areas:

🌿Enriching the office with plants and caring for them: the office has been transformed into a greener space by planting a variety of plants. Employees actively participate in the care and maintenance of these plants, fostering a collaborative and environmentally friendly atmosphere.

🌿Converting pool cars to electric: To reduce the company's carbon footprint, the team is working to convert the office's pool cars to electric vehicles, which aligns with Nissan's wider environmental goals. Colleagues have actively used a lovely Nissan Leaf, and we receive numerous recognitions.

🌿Efficient office energy management: The team is implementing strategies to make energy use in the office more efficient to reduce waste, optimise the usage of electric equipment, and promote sustainability.

🌿Awareness presentations on green topics: Presentations are given regularly to educate colleagues on various environmental topics, such as the recycling of batteries from electric cars, emphasizing the importance of responsible disposal and recycling practices.

The team has just completed the planting project successfully. This activity has not only improved the aesthetics of the office but has also created a sense of comfort and community among employees. Colleagues now enjoy working in a friendly, green environment that promotes their well-being and reflects their commitment to sustainability.

As Nóra explained, the planting and maintenance programme has received enthusiastic feedback from colleagues and the overall popularity of Green Community activities continues to grow. This collective effort beautifies the office and emphasizes Nissan's commitment to creating a sustainable and environmentally conscious workplace.

Andrea Kis-Juhász, the Talent Acquisition Team Leader at Nissan Regional Business Services (NRBS), recently enjoyed an unforgettable weekend away in a Nissan Qashqai. This stylish and safe SUV took her on a journey through the beautiful city of Pécs, where she and her spouse explored the local sights and paid a visit to the local animal rescue organisation ManchRanch.

Andrea’s weekend adventure was made possible by one of the many perks offered by NRBS: the ability to borrow a pool car. This benefit allows employees to enjoy the comfort and convenience of a Nissan vehicle for their personal journeys. NRBS also covers part of the fuel and motorway costs, making this option even more attractive for employees who want to enjoy a weekend away.

At Nissan, our commitment to animal welfare is unwavering. To demonstrate this commitment, we recently held two lovely dog walks in July and collected donations of dog food to support Kismaszat Állatmentő Egyesület, a local animal rescue organisation.

On a warm summer day, our team visited the foundation and spent a lot of time with some of their animals. The walks were heart-warming events full of joy and mutual affection between our team members and the dogs. These experiences gave us a deep understanding of the daily struggles these animals endure and the Foundation's tireless efforts to support them.

The visit moved us deeply and strengthened our resolve to continue to support Kismaszat Állatmentő Egyesület in their mission. We are very proud to contribute to this noble cause and look forward to future opportunities to support the welfare of these animals. By working together, we can significantly improve their lives.

Nissan Regional Business Services has taken an important step towards supporting children living in socially difficult circumstances by donating its used laptops. This compassionate project was spearheaded by Tibor Bocskei, who liaised with the Fejér Megyei Esély Gyermekvédelmi és Gyermeksegítő Alapítvány to make the donation possible.

According to Tibor, this foundation was chosen because it is associated with several child protection organisations. The head of the foundation processes the donations quickly and efficiently and takes them to where they are needed most. Tibor is also in private contact with organisations that help children and tries to help them whenever possible. He is always saddened to think how many children are growing up without their own families.

Tibor explained that this donation was a remarkable example of teamwork and co-operation across the Nissan Regional Business Services team. It all started with the manager Attila Szekeres, who efficiently obtained the necessary authorizations for the donation of the laptops. His leadership and commitment were crucial in making this project a reality.

Colleagues at the local service desks also played an important role in preparing the laptops for their new home during an IT volunteer day – special thanks to our external colleagues – Buda Gyurcsók and Márton Kovács. Our team meticulously set up each device and ensured that all data was securely erased and each laptop was in perfect working order. They also ensured that all the necessary accessories were included, so the recipients received a complete package ready for immediate use.

I can't thank my colleagues at Delivery CoE - Gabor Robert, Tibor Kuthy, Péter Selmeci and Zsolt Zakariás -enough for all the time and effort they put into making this project a success. The NRBS Talent Acquisition team, led by Andrea Kis-Juhász, also provided selfless support throughout the implementation.

The official handover took place in the ceremonial hall of the mayor's office in Székesfehérvár, where 21 children were present, to whom we could personally hand over the gift packages and laptops. All colleagues present were deeply touched by the event and we have already started to think together about how we can help in the future.
