💚 Step by step, system by system - with young people and green communities, building a more sustainable future!

⭕ 1 in 7 young people aged 10–19 is living with a mental health condition right now

But here's what the research also tells us: Active young people are 20–30% less likely to experience depressive symptoms. The more structured and regular the movement, the stronger the effect - on mood, on anxiety, on resilience.

🟢 Sport isn't just a hobby. For many young people, it's the space where confidence grows, self-esteem builds, mood lifts, and friendships form.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, the question isn't whether sport matters for mental health. The evidence is clear.

The real question is: how do we build ecosystems where young people actually have access to it❓

That's exactly what Sports and Health Innovation Accelerator (SHIA project) is built for - bridging universities, innovation hubs, and industry to create environments where sport- and health-tech solutions can emerge and grow.

With Europe Day on May 9th almost here, we're feeling grateful - and this map is a big part of why.

🟢 The coloured countries on this map are more than geography - each one represents a real partnership, a real team that crossed a border to build something better together.

Over the years, our projects have connected educators, innovators, and changemakers across Europe.

Different languages, different systems, different perspectives - all working toward the same goal: better learning, stronger communities, and a more creative continent.

🔭 This Month is dedicated to citizen science, and we are celebrating bridging academia to community!

Citizen science means opening the doors of the scientific process to everyone - not just professionals in labs. Volunteers contribute to data collection, analysis, problem definition, and even shaping the solutions themselves.

The result ❓ Science that is faster, more grounded in reality, and trusted by the communities it serves.

Because here's what researchers and policymakers often overlook: people closest to a problem have a lot more information than any expert, and often see the simplest, most effective path to solving it as well.

🔎 This is exactly the vision behind ENTER - our Erasmus+ project building bridges between universities and local communities in India and Malaysia to access local environmental data. Through citizen science pilots and living labs ENTER is proving that when academia and society co-create, better decisions follow.

🙌 Science has always belonged to humanity. It's time we, as citizens, keep in mind that we are just as important to science as science is important to us.

🌎 Yesterday, our team celebrated Earth Day the best way we know how - by stepping outside and learning something new

We visited the Ecotourism Centre of Dunamente in Lábatlan, and it genuinely exceeded expectations. The centre tackles global environmental challenges while celebrating local biodiversity through immersive, multi-sensory installations - the kind of hands-on, experiential learning that lies at the heart of everything we do at CSI.

🟩 Taking in the beautiful Danube scenery on the way was the perfect reminder of why our team champions sustainability every day

Creativity Shows Who We Are - and What We Value 💡

On April 21, the world celebrates World Creativity and Innovation Day - a global UN day dedicated to raising awareness about the power of creativity and innovation in solving the challenges that matter most.

What if students could experience the Circular Economy, - not just study it?

That question drove the development of the EduCircular XR application, created as part of the Erasmus+ EduCircular project. Instead of textbooks and slideshows, students step into real-world environments - a school cafeteria, a library - and make decisions that shape sustainability outcomes.

🚀 Something big is launching in European sports and health innovation, and we're proud to be part of it. We're excited to share that the SHIA (Sports and Health Innovation Accelerator) project has officially kicked off!

Bringing together 12 partners from 11 countries, SHIA is a 36-month initiative built around one powerful idea: sports and health innovation shouldn't live in silos.

👉Bridging the gap between education, research, and industry by developing a validated innovation acceleration programme at the intersection of the health and sports sectors.
