Continuing our ADAS/ADS Validation Series, in Part 2, we explore what it takes to turn real-world testing into a data foundation for validation.

Capturing data is only the first step. With aiMotive’s Rooftop Box and aiRec, engineers can record real-world driving from multiple synchronized sources, while aiData helps organize and search the data, making it easier to find the recordings and data segments that matter.

The result? A workflow that helps engineers move beyond simply collecting recordings and efficiently identify the data relevant to specific ADAS/ADS validation questions.

How do humans respond to autonomous driving?

Welcoming the Autonomous Vehicle Readiness Research Group from the University of Szeged to aiMotive is an exciting step in a unique research collaboration exploring the human side of autonomous driving.

Together, we took the research to the road: for the first time, the SZTE Research Group was measuring participants’ neurophysiological and behavioral responses in real-world traffic during an autonomous drive on the M0 motorway.

And this is just the beginning! The next phase of the research will explore how autonomous vehicles may shape trust, feelings, and behavior in urban environments.

We’re proud to partner with the University of Szeged and support research that helps us better understand what it means to make autonomous mobility part of everyday life.
