Let’s see the requirements for the EIT Digital Venture Incubation Program 2024:

📌Multidisciplinary teams of at least two individuals with an innovative business idea in the fields of:

- Digital Industry,
- Digital Tech,
- Digital well-being,
- Digital Finance, or
- Digital Cities.

📌Residents of Hungary and other 23 countries, you can check the entire list on their website.

📌Non-legal entities or startups incorporated after 1 January 2024

If you have met these 3 requirements above, you can start your application:

Let’s continue our journey of introducing the EIT Digital Venture Incubation Program!

In the last post, we talked about the key steps of the program, such as:
- the eight-week pre-acceleration program led by Lunar Program, which includes the followings: dedicated mentoring, in-person workshops, pitch development and practice
- the final Pitch Day, where teams will get the chance to validate their business solution by presenting it in front of early-stage investors

But it is time to talk about the financials:

All teams will receive an initial €5,000 tranche of support, those teams who complete the program will receive additonal €10K.

Finally, the first ten ventures to raise at least €50,000 in funding from private investors by the end of November will be entitled to an additional prize of €10,000, bringing EIT Digital’s total support to €30,000.

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first Demo Day of Lunar Program and EIT Digital where four exceptional teams - HoloSapiens, MindScope, Lifty, and HerbAnalytics - showcased their groundbreaking innovations. 🌟


This event provided an incredible opportunity for these startups to share their "a-ha" moments, team formations, and important milestones with esteemed angel investors in the Hungarian startup and innovation ecosystem. It was truly inspiring to witness the startup’s growth and potential firsthand. 🌱


The agenda included captivating pitches, engaging Q&A sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities. The teams hard work and dedication have paid off, and we extend our warmest congratulations to all of them! 🎉


We are happy to have had the chance to work with EIT Digital and the Hungarian Business Angel Network, as their support has been instrumental in the success of these startups.

Over the past few weeks, Lunar Program has been bustling with activity, providing invaluable resources and guidance to the startups. 🌟

Let’s summarize them:

📚 We conducted a series of dynamic seminars to enhance the startups’ knowledge and skills. These workshops, including Sales/Marketing strategy, Startup Legal workshop, Go-to-market strategy, and Pitch development, aimed to equip the teams with the expertise they need to build a successful business.

💼 We strongly believe in the power of collaboration and mentorship. That's why we facilitated weekly check-ins with dedicated mentors from the Lunar Program. Our mentors, with their vast industry experience, provided valuable insights and guidance to the teams, helping them navigate challenges and maximize opportunities.

📊 To ensure our startups stay on track and make progress, we established bi-weekly team status updates as well.

🔥 Investor questions can be tough, but preparation is key! To help the startups ace their Demo Day presentations, we organized Pre-Demo Day roast sessions. During these sessions, teams were sent uncomfortable questions to answer within a tight 30-minute timeframe.

🚀At the Lunar Program, we strongly believe in empowering our startups and fostering an ecosystem that nurtures innovation and growth.

As the application has ended, we are more than happy to introduce the startups, who qualified for the program: MindScope, HoloSapiens, Lifty Carpool and HerbAnalytics.👏

After their ACs, they participated in a Kick-off weekend, where they took part in different workshops helping their development, such as value proposition, revenue, market research and validation workshop.

We would like to thank our experts from Hungarian Business Angel Network for holding a product roadmap and development seminar during the Kick-off weekend and providing feedback for the startups.🧐

We will continue to support their journeys to become a successful early-stage startup with more well-prepared workshops in June.
