Product Designer (Junior–Mid Level)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Product Designer with 3–5 years of experience in the banking/financial industry. In this role, you will lead the design of a new tool’s communication experience across all retail channels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with industry design standards. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to bring communication systems to life, while working hand-in-hand with UX Researchers who validate and test these experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design of communication experiences across retail channels.
• Create notification patterns, in-app messaging flows, Smart Alerts, Smart Nudges, and early Action Path prototypes.
• Ensure the communication system is intuitive, accessible, consistent, and aligned with design standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams for seamless implementation.
• Partner with UX Researchers, who will test communications (notifications, banners, emails, nudges) for comprehension, tone, accessibility, and behavioral impact across Retail, MSME, and Corporate segments.
• Contribute to evidence-based design decisions that reduce risks of poor adoption, misinterpretation, or harm.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of product/UX design experience, preferably in the banking/financial sector.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating communication design, interaction design, and system-level thinking.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Hungary on US timezones.
Nice to Have
• Experience designing accessible communication systems.
• Familiarity with agile product development environments.
• Background in behavioral design or service design.
