Sharing practical information on EU funds and programmes such as H2020, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, It was back in the Spring of 1999 that our story began.

Our CEO, Gabor, a recently graduated geology student who was very excited about an upcoming backpacking trip around South-East Asia, got involved in an FP5 proposal by one of his university professors. Call it beginner's luck; call it hard work; that project was selected for funding. And Gabor, together with his best friend, oversaw some technical work packages and coordinated the international co

nsortium with all the responsibilities that role held. Who would have thought that that FP5 project quickly multiplied into +300 projects and proposals across different funding schemes? In 2006 we decided to share the hands-on knowledge and experience we learned through our projects and gave birth to Europa Media Trainings. Through our courses, webinars, and consultancies, we aim to train you to be more successful in EU-funded projects and make your journey headache-free. Cesar said that experience is the best teacher, but he never said you couldn't learn that same experience from others.

A big thank you to all participants who joined us in Barcelona on 17–18 February for our Actual Cost vs Lump Sum: Mastering Horizon Europe Finances from Budgeting to Audit course!

Over two intensive days, we worked through hands-on exercises, real project examples, and case studies to clarify the key differences, advantages, and risks of Actual Cost and Lump Sum projects together with our CEO and financial expert Gabor Kitley and our Managing Director and expert in Horizon Europe projects Krisztina Toth.

Two courses at once? Yes, we can! 💪

On 28–29 October, we hosted two in-person trainings simultaneously in Brussels - one focused on proposal development in Horizon Europe and the other dedicated to personnel cost calculation and reporting under EU-funded programmes.

It was fantastic to see participants from both groups exchanging insights and energy in the same venue!

✨ In the Master of Proposal Writing in Horizon Europe, led by our expert proposal writer Jelena Kajganović, participants learned how to match their ideas with the right call topics and ensure compliance with all requirements, from cross-cutting issues to impact and submission details.

💼 In the Fast Track to Personnel Cost Calculation and Reporting – in Horizon Europe and all other EU Grants of 2021–2027, led by our CEO and financial management expert Gabor Kitley, we broke down the theory behind personnel costs, reviewed common scenarios and explored real-life exceptions that occur during project implementation.

We were truly impressed by the drive, curiosity and deep engagement of all participants tackling complex cases in both proposal development and project implementation stages.
