Sharing practical information on EU funds and programmes such as H2020, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, It was back in the Spring of 1999 that our story began.

Our CEO, Gabor, a recently graduated geology student who was very excited about an upcoming backpacking trip around South-East Asia, got involved in an FP5 proposal by one of his university professors. Call it beginner's luck; call it hard work; that project was selected for funding. And Gabor, together with his best friend, oversaw some technical work packages and coordinated the international consortium with all the responsibilities that role held. Who would have thought that that FP5 project quickly multiplied into +300 projects and proposals across different funding schemes? In 2006 we decided to share the hands-on knowledge and experience we learned through our projects and gave birth to Europa Media Trainings. Through our courses, webinars, and consultancies, we aim to train you to be more successful in EU-funded projects and make your journey headache-free. Cesar said that experience is the best teacher, but he never said you couldn't learn that same experience from others.

Over five days it goes from proposal conceptual development to the closure of your project. Our trainers Ömer Ceylan and Jelena Kajganovic are leading the first two days on proposal writing, with a hands-on workshop in groups each afternoon.

Before you pick a final conference date, check the summer holidays, the June and September event peak, and Easter.

That's lesson one in our colleague Cătălina Vrabie's blog post on Horizon Europe final conferences. July and August are holiday time, June and September are peak event season in the EU bubble, and Orthodox Easter counts too if some of your guests come from south-eastern Europe.

If the Grant Agreement already names the month and you'd like to move it, she suggests discussing it with your Project Officer.
