At BCG, our latest Healthcare Breakfast brought colleagues together for an inspiring morning of expert insights and meaningful conversations. We were pleased to welcome Dr. Andrea Ficzere, President of the Hungarian Hospital Association and Director General of Uzsoki Street Hospital, who shared her perspectives on the importance of preventive healthcare. The discussion highlighted how prevention is not only essential for individual wellbeing but also for the long-term sustainability of Hungary's healthcare system. By placing greater emphasis on prevention, we can help reduce the burden on healthcare services and contribute to a future where people in Hungary live longer, healthier lives.

🎉 This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming three talented Visiting Associates to our team: Boti, Anna, and Tudor! 💚

Bringing diverse academic backgrounds and experiences across finance, strategy, and consulting, each of them contributed fresh perspectives, curiosity, and energy to our projects. 🚀

📚 Boti joined us while pursuing a Master's in Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen, following experience in corporate finance and private credit.

📈 Anna joined us from WU Vienna, where she completed her Bachelor's in Business and Economics, after gaining experience across private equity, equity research, and business development. This autumn, she will continue her studies in Accounting and Finance at LSE. 🎓

🌍 Tudor joined us after graduating from the University of Warwick and brought experience from both strategy consulting and boutique advisory projects.

From supporting client work to bringing unique perspectives to the office, it was a pleasure having them as part of the team. 🤝✨

A few months in Australia, countless new experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime. 🌏✨

Patrik recently completed a transfer to our Australian office, where he had the opportunity to work on impactful projects, experience a new culture, and explore a different corner of the world.

💬 “I’d been curious to see this part of the world for a long time, and this program gave me the perfect opportunity to experience both Aussie work and Aussie life.”

One of the highlights of his transfer was helping build and roll out a fuel-price optimizing AI solution for one of Australia’s largest fuel retailers—an experience that combined cutting-edge technology with real business impact. 🤖⛽

And outside of work? There was no shortage of adventure! 🌊🦈

💬 “Scuba diving with bull sharks in Fiji is one that's hard to forget.”

Despite the incredible experiences abroad, there was one thing he missed most:

We are incredibly proud to share that BCG and Integrom Program - Nagyvállalati munkalehetőség romáknak have received the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum’s Katalizátor Award 2026.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects a cause we deeply care about: helping the talented young Roma access opportunities that too often feel out of reach.

The Integrom Program has been changing lives for years by supporting the long-term development and career journeys of socially and economically disadvantaged individuals of the Roma community. It is an honor for us to stand alongside them in this work.

We are also especially proud of Katalin Ivan, whose tireless work, commitment, and belief in the mission continue to open more doors for Integrom and help foster a more inclusive job market in Hungary.

Awards are important, but what matters most are the real stories behind them, the ambition, resilience, and determination of the young people in the program, and the dedication of everyone working to support them along the way.
