According to Airbus' latest Global Services Forecast, Europe & CIS will need more new pilots than any other region by 2045. At Simnest Aviation, we're already contributing to meeting this challenge:

4 airlines. 3 Simnest simulators. 1 academy.

Our long-standing customer Center Air Pilot Academy has welcomed its first Finnair MPL class, adding another major airline programme alongside its work with SAS, Norwegian and Jettime.

To support its growing airline training activity, CAPA operates two Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulators and a Simnest B737 FNPT II MCC.

For us, this is one of the strongest measures of a simulator’s value: not simply where it is installed, but what our customers are able to build around it.

Congratulations to the CAPA team on another important milestone — and welcome to the first Finnair MPL cadets! 👏

AI-assisted debriefing moved from development into the industry conversation at APATS 2026. 💬

We announced an expanded collaboration with AviatePro on Simvidence Powered by Simnest, an AI-assisted multimodal training-review platform, while Krisztian Makai, MRAeS shared early findings and practical examples during his APATS conference session on how the platform can support more focused, evidence-informed simulator debriefing.

We were also pleased to see the topic gain attention across the aviation media, including Halldale Group / Civil Aviation Training, CAPA - Centre for Aviation, AFM.aero, LARA and others. 📰

Bangkok also gave us the chance to reconnect with familiar faces, build new industry relationships, and have valuable conversations about the future of pilot training and simulation.

Several of those conversations are now moving forward, and we look forward to continuing them in the weeks ahead. ⏩

Together, we are continuing the development and validation of Simvidence Powered by Simnest, a co-branded platform designed to support instructor-led debriefing with reviewable, source- and timestamp-traceable evidence from simulator sessions. 🗂️

The collaboration brings together Simnest’s simulator technology, real-world training environment and instructor expertise with AviatePro’s AI-supported human factors and debriefing technology.

On the second day of APATS, join our team and Krisztian Makai, MRAeS at Booth 208 to explore Simvidence and step inside our simulators through a selection of immersive 3D VR films. 🥽

5 days until APATS — and we found a way to bring our simulator with us. 🥽

Even though the largest component of a Simnest simulator fits through a standard doorway, bringing the entire device to our booth in Bangkok was not quite an option.

So we are bringing the next best thing: an immersive VR experience.

Put on the headset and and choose from a selection of 3D films showing our simulator in action across different training scenarios. Step inside the flight deck, explore the training environment and experience how realistically a Simnest device recreates the world of airline pilot training.

It may not take up as much space as the real simulator — but it will bring you remarkably close to the experience.
