Hey, great to see CEE wines presented in London-town. I think it would be fair to say, wines from Hungary and the other CEE countries are getting more, deserved attention for their unique characteristics and presentation of wine culture reaching back not in years, but in centuries. On the road again! This time to the first ever Karakterre in Germany! In this case at the historic Kloster Erbach in Eltville! Amzing venue, amazing wines with many friends. Next stop Nurnberg.

Dawn patrol in Váradi. We enjoy these early morning scans in the misty vineyards even if the frequent rain and high humidity pushes our boundaries weekly. A labor of love that is ultimately the sum of these efforts, repeated day-in, day-out….

Very nice to have Liam, Sinead and Miro bring KOG25 Furmint masterclass to B-üzem yesterday. When do you get to taste 35 top notch Furmints from 7 Pannonian countries. Furmint is an incredible transporter of terroir. Shared regional culture in the hands of talented winemakers can bring nuance to the expression of Furmint. It was an afternoon and evening of tasting, discussions and the fine food of István Petyko and Réka Sipos. These types of tastings inform us of our own work and how we need to talk to our commercial and private partners about this noble grape variety. Our group was mostly winemakers, wine writers and media specialists. Thank you are for coming and participating.

GILVESY x KOG25 Furmint Mesterkurzus, kóstoló és vacsora 🔥

Fókuszban a pannóniai furmint - várunk titeket a -ben. A délutánt előadással, majd több körös furmint vakkóstolóval indítjuk, amit kerekasztal beszélgetés és kóstoló fog követni. A nap zárásaként együtt vacsorázunk és elmélkedünk, a B-üzem által készített finomságokkal körbe véve.
Menetrend:

13:45 - gyülekező a B-üzemben (Nemesgulács)
14:00 - köszöntő
14:30 - vakkóstoló - 35 furmint, 7 kör
17:00 - szünet, kerekasztal beszélgetés, extra kóstoló
18:30 - vacsora
20:00 - beszélgetés, “visszakóstolás”, borozás
