Traditional Lumbung House in rural landscape

Rooted in tradition and refined for contemporary living, this Lumbung House is a celebration of natural materials, thoughtful craftsmanship, and quiet luxury.

The structure is entirely shaped by the honesty of natural wood, carefully selected to preserve its authentic grain, warm tones, and organic character. Elevated on solid concrete footings, the design allows air to flow freely beneath the space, enhancing durability while respecting the surrounding landscape.

Inside, a soft mattress and layered cushions create an inviting place to rest, while sheer patterned curtains gently sway with the breeze—filtering light, movement, and shadow into the interior. The curved roof, traditionally inspired by Indonesian lumbung architecture, is finished with alang-alang thatch, offering both visual warmth and natural insulation.

Set within an open field of earth and greenery, this design is not simply a structure—it is an experience. A place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a sense of calm shaped by craftsmanship rather than excess.
