River Mas arrived in Batam under one flag and left under another.

The vessel came from Alexandria, Egypt, flying the Antigua and Barbuda flag before entering PaxOcean Pertama Shipyard for dry docking and repairs.

During her extended stay in Batam, BSA supported the local arrangements for technical specialists, inspections, crew documentation, medical assistance, provisions, spare parts, samples, and departure formalities.

The docking schedule changed several times, so many of the arrangements also had to be adjusted along the way.

During the same period, River Mas was reflagged to Panama. BSA coordinated the necessary updates to the vessel’s particulars and documents with the relevant Indonesian authorities.

After completing the shipyard programme and outward-clearance formalities, River Mas departed Batam for Singapore on 30 June 2026.

This was the vessel’s second assignment with BSA. We had previously supported River Mas during a cargo unloading and ship-to-ship operation at Batu Ampar Port in October 2024.

Through close coordination with all parties involved, the PSC inspection was carried out safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Upon completion, the vessel continued her voyage to Jakarta, marking another successful operation supported by PT. Bisa Jasa Segara.

From the historic port of Alexandria, Egypt, MV. RIVER MAS embarked on a remarkable voyage to Batam, Indonesia—not merely to reach a destination, but to begin a new chapter in her maritime journey.

Upon her arrival in Batam on 09 May 2026, PT. Bisa Jasa Segara (Batamagent) was honored to serve as the vessel’s trusted shipping agent, coordinating her port call and supporting a smooth transition into PaxOcean Shipyard for scheduled dry docking. Throughout the docking period, comprehensive maintenance and technical works were successfully completed to ensure the vessel’s continued operational excellence.

One of the most significant milestones during her stay in Batam was the successful change of registry and flag, from Antigua & Barbuda to Panama—marking a new identity and opening the next chapter of her maritime journey.

Following the successful completion of all docking activities and operational formalities, MV. RIVER MAS departed Batam on 30 June 2026, bound for Singapore, ready to continue her voyage under her new flag.

MT. ALPINE SPIRIT: From Dry Dock to Departure

Arriving from Singapore on 25 May 2026, MT. ALPINE SPIRIT entered Batam waters to commence her scheduled dry docking at PaxOcean Shipyard and complete her transition from the Panama Flag to the Marshall Islands Flag.

Over the following weeks, the vessel underwent essential docking works and regulatory processes, preparing her for the next chapter of her voyage.

Today, 17 June 2026, MT. ALPINE SPIRIT sets sail once again, departing Batam and heading back to Singapore after successfully completing her docking period.

LIFEBOAT HOISTING OPERATION – MT. RED RUBY

The lifeboat hoisting operation for MT. RED RUBY has been successfully carried out in a safe and well-coordinated manner.

The process commenced at Utraco Jetty, where the lifeboat was lifted and subsequently towed by a tugboat to MT. RED RUBY, which was at anchorage in Batu Ampar waters.

This operation was managed by PT. Bisa Jasa Segara (Batam Shipping Agency), ensuring high standards of safety, precise ex*****on, and effective operational coordination to support a smooth and efficient process.

From cold lay-up to sailing again.

When ownership of Asgard changed, the vessel was already in cold lay-up in Batam. Shortly after, the vessel owner entrusted us to act as the appointed agent throughout her re-activation process.

Over the next six months, this journey involved close coordination — vessel relocation, shipyard liaison, crew onboarding, technical support, compliance, and final departure arrangements.

Every step required patience, teamwork, and constant communication between all parties involved.

Asgard departed Batam exactly on 31 December 2025 — a meaningful way to close the year for everyone involved.
