INDONESIAN TRADITIONAL DRINK HIGH BENEFITS OF

Most Asian people use ginger for medication, seasoning and beauty care. Indonesians usually carry ginger drink when traveling to cold regions. Even if other countries have such drinks, ginger remains a favorite of Asians and especially Indonesians.

In this article I will tell you the recipe for a traditional Indonesian drink from ginger which has many benefits for maintaining body fitness and can really be made at home.

Wedang Uwuh, Wedang in Javanese means this drink has many benefits when consumed, you know. Because the rich spice content in this drink has high antioxidants and can reduce cholesterol levels in the body. This typical drink from Bantul, Yogyakarta is best enjoyed when warm. Come on!

Ingredients:
Ginger
Clove
Clove Leaf
Dried Cinnamon Leaves
Dried nutmeg leaves
Sappan wood
Rock Sugar

How to make:

1. Roast the ginger on the coals, then crush it.
2. Bring the water to a boil and add the ginger, wait a while. Then add cloves, clove leaves, cinnamon leaves, nutmeg leaves and sappan wood.
3. Allow the water to turn red.
4. Pour into a glass, serve while warm.
