Bali just launched a visa specifically for content creators. And almost nobody is talking about it.

If you do sponsored content, brand collaborations, or commercial photo and video work in Bali, read this.

The C5A Content Creator Visa is now available. Here are the key facts:

🎬 Designed for foreign creators and influencers
📅 60 days initial stay, plus two 60-day extensions (up to 180 days total)

Why this matters now: Since April 2026, Bali's Dharma Dewata immigration task force is actively patrolling Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Kerobokan, and Uluwatu. If you're in Bali right now, read this.

Bali's new immigration task force has detained 62 foreigners in just three weeks. The Dharma Dewata patrol started in April 2026 and they're checking foreigners in all the popular areas: Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Uluwatu.

Most of these people thought they were fine. They weren't.

Here's the thing a lot of people don't realize: on a tourist visa, even unpaid stuff can count as "work." Volunteering at a yoga retreat for free meals? Work. Posting an Instagram story about a villa because they gave you a free night? Work. Helping out at a friend's café for a few hours? Also work.

If you're working remotely for clients overseas, your VoA doesn't cover that. You need an E33G Remote Worker KITAS.
