“The best view comes after the hardest climb.”

Dari post 2 menuju 3 mulai melewati jalan berkelok kelok dengan jalur yang sangat kecil serta menanjak. Sekitar pukul setengah 5 kami sampai di camp ground. Sembari menunggu waktu untuk Sun Rise, kita duduk- duduk melihat langit yang perlahan- lahan mulai menunjukkan warna indahnya. Pukul 05.15 saya dan sebagian orang naik ke puncak gunung Andong, yang pada akhirnya disusul oleh teman-teman. Saat sampai di puncak, muncul Sun Rise yang luar biasa indah. Lalu sekitar pukul 6 lewat, kami turun dari gunung Andong.

Awal perjalanan disuguhkan dengan gerimis dan kabut. Perjalanan melewati jalur baru yang lebih landai tapi lebih lama mencapai puncak Andong. Perjalanan berlanjut sampai kita berada cukup tinggi di pos 2. Di sini sudah mulai terlihat kota yang gemerlap. Untung sekali tidak hujan pada saat perjalanan mendaki dari pos 1 ke 2.

“It’s not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.” -Sir Edmund Hillary-

Pendakian Gunung Andong via Sawit, 29-06-2023, 02.12. Perjalanan dimulai dari Jogja pk.10 berkumpul di McD jombor. Jumlah orang yang akan mengikuti pendakian yaitu 14 orang. Karena lapar, jadi perjalanan kita tidak langsung menuju Sawit, namun kita ke magelang dahulu untuk mencari makan. Dari Magelang, kita melewati Secang untuk menuju ke Sawit. Sesampainya di Sawit, kita mulai untuk memarkirkan mobil dan mencari tempat registrasi. Biaya masuknya:
- 1 Orang : 20k
- Parkir Mobil : 20k
Setelah pembayaran registrasi, kita mulai berjalan menuju gerbang pendakian Sawit.
