It is difficult to describe our emotion at having learned of the sudden disappearance of Erza, our first partner in Indonesia, but also our friend.
So many memories jostle in our head...
Our first gala dinner in Jakarta, in 2016, a real baptism of fire for us. Erza decided to make it the most beautiful event of the year, so he supervised everything down to the last detail, weeks in advance - and God knows if the result was worth it!
Our first opera organized with Erza (The Telephone), of course, but above all "the opera of operas", probably one of the biggest ever organized in Jakarta, with a pleiad of exceptional musicians and singers from all over the world, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Indonesian Opera Society, founded by Erza: 600 people (the cream of the cream of Jakarta) seated for dinner, with 3 menus chosen by each guest before the ceremony, thus a table setting of a complexity worthy of a great international diplomatic summit.
With Erza, everything turned to glamour, laughter, refinement, exuberance, magnificence, creativity and generosity. But he could also be very scathing when he didn't like something or someone and when things were going wrong, his Diva Drama were memorable. This was also Erza.
That it all stops so abruptly seems impossible to believe.
