Kosenda Hotel is a design-oriented haven owned by Indonesian textile and garment entrepreneur Ruben Kosenda. The hotel’s interior is loaded with comfortable character-filled spaces that are both inviting and edgy.

Every detail has been designed to deliver maximum comfort. Every corner is intended to tell a story. Its stylish design elements include the works of contemporary Indonesian artists and reference local culture.

Sanchia Hamidjaja is a visual artist/illustrator based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design from Swinburne National Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia in 2004 and started her short career in advertising as a graphic designer and then later as an art director/illustrator in a motion graphics studio, and doing commissioned mural works on the side.

L'AVENUE is a comprehensive living compound that seamlessly combines various elements to provide a holistic and integrated experience. It encompasses offices, residences, education centers, and leisure parks, all within one location.

Its location is surrounded by established residential areas known for their greenery: MBAU Triloka, Perdatam, Tebet, and Pasar Minggu, yet is also only minutes away from the Central Business Districts of Sudirman and Kuningan.

We asked Asmudjo to respond to L'AVENUE's concept by creating a sculpture that would invite people to take breaks from their daily work and errand schedules.

As a result of Asmudjo's artistic vision, the sculpture named "Reclining" was brought to life. This magnificent artwork portrays individuals in a state of relaxation, indulging in their "me time" within a park setting.

By showcasing the essence of leisure and rejuvenation, "Reclining" resonates with the core values of L'AVENUE, enticing visitors to pause, rejuvenate, and enjoy moments of tranquility amidst their demanding routines

Adi Dharma, also known as Stereoflow (b. 1982)
Is an 80’s kid, influenced by the hip hop and funk music of that generation that was simple, catchy, and colorful. A free-spirited and self-taught artist, he is best known for his bright and colorful style, a combination of all the visual styles he has explored throughout his career in the street art and contemporary art scene. By composing vibrant colors and simple visual elements, He manifests beats of the sound of any form into his signature visuals.

Throughout his career in the street art and contemporary art scene, Stereoflow has been recognized for mostly working outdoors with large-scale mediums. We noticed his bright and colorful style potential to be presented indoors. In 2019, we eventually did that in the Swissotel Jakarta P*K Avenue breakout space. We were honored and happy to involve him in this project and thank Serrum Art Handling to help with the artwork’s installation.

Murals can transform drab and sterile offices into lively and inspiring spaces in an instant. They are not only a form of creative expression but also the realization of a more pragmatic goal: to design work and leisure spaces in ways that encourage creativity and productivity.

Creating murals for the workplace is a process that takes numerous aspects into consideration. We understand that clients often have specific ideas of how they would like the murals to turn out. This was the case with our project with PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), the leading independent tower owner and operator for wireless communication companies in Indonesia.

We entrusted the artist Emte (Mohammad Taufiq) with the task of reflecting Protelindo's workplace culture and values in a series of sequential murals

Tragicoo is prominently fresh when it comes to playing with colors and shapes as seen in this artwork displayed in Swissotel Jakarta P*K Avenue—A 5-star hotel adorned its every corner with works of art from the best artists— where his work of art lightens up the mood and raises the quality of life for anyone coming by.

Darmawan Aji Sambodo, more commonly known as Tragicoo (b.1988) is Yogya based contemporary artist. As a young and dynamic artist who explores various mediums, his abstract works play with colors, shapes, and figures combining altogether in colorful combinations and arranging them in an artistic composition.

His works can flexibly be presented in various mediums and sizes like on canvases for the smaller size and on walls for the larger, and can even also be applied to various merchandise.

Design is a way of life, a point of view. It involves the whole complex of visual communications: talent, creative ability, manual skill, and technical knowledge. Aesthetics and economics, technology and psychology are intrinsically related to the process.
Process is an important part to achieve the desired result. Creativity is the process of having original ideas that have value. It is a process; it's not random.
Good design has a center of interest. There are various ways to draw attention to that emphasis, which can be achieved by looping, size, and contrast between textures, color tones, lines, spaces, shapes or motifs

In visual experiences, harmony is something that is pleasing to the eye. It engages the viewer and it creates an inner sense of order, a balance in the visual experience. When something is not harmonious, it's either boring or chaotic. At one extreme is a visual experience that is so bland that the viewer is not engaged. The human brain will reject under-stimulating information. At the other extreme is a visual experience that is so overdone, so chaotic that the viewer can't stand to look at it. The human brain rejects what it cannot organize, what it cannot understand. The visual task requires that we present a logical structure. Color harmony delivers visual interest and a sense of order.

Color is light and light is energy. Scientists have found that actual physiological changes take place in human beings when they are exposed to certain colors. Colors can stimulate, excite, depress, tranquilize, increase appetite and create a feeling of warmth or coolness. This is known as chromodynamics.

Dalam pengalaman visual, keharmonisan adalah sesuatu yang menyamankan penglihatan. Ini melibatkan tampilan dan menciptakan rasa keteraturan, keseimbangan dalam pengalaman visual. Bila ada sesuatu yang tidak harmonis, hal tersebut akan membosankan atau juga kacau. Satu hal ekstrem adalah pengalaman visual yang begitu hambar sehingga penonton tidak mendapat sensasi apapun. Otak manusia akan menolak informasi yang kurang merangsang. Yang ekstrem lainnya adalah pengalaman visual yang begitu berlebihan, sehingga kacau dan apresiator tidak tahan melihatnya. Otak manusia menolak apa yang tidak bisa diaturnya, dan apa yang tidak bisa dimengerti.

Harmoni warna memberikan ketertarikan visual dan rasa keteraturan. Warna adalah cahaya dan cahaya adalah energi. Para ilmuwan telah menemukan bahwa perubahan fisiologis sebenarnya terjadi pada manusia saat mereka menangkap paparan warna tertentu. Warna bisa merangsang, menekan, menenangkan, menambah nafsu makan dan menciptakan rasa hangat atau dingin. Ini dikenal sebagai chromodynamics.
