Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program I (SIAP I)

SIAP I is achieving its goal by supporting efforts of key accountability agencies largely through technical assistance and training such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Body (BPK). The program will be also supporting efforts to strengthen political integrity and accountability by reducing the influence of “money politics.” This will include efforts to strengthen the regulation of political finance through effective oversight and enforcement. SIAP I is structured as a three-year program, started in January 2011, which has been successfully extended for two additional years, until January 2016, with a total funding ceiling of $13 million. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SIAP I mencapai tujuannya dengan dengan memberikan dukungan pada lembaga-lembaga kunci penjamin akuntabilitas negara, berupa dukungan teknis dan pelatihan, seperti kepada Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK). Program ini juga mendukung upaya-upaya penguatan integritas dan akuntabilitas politik dengan mengurangi praktek "politik uang", misalnya dengan menguatkan peraturan pendanaan politik. SIAP I dibentuk sebagai program berdurasi 3 tahun yang dimulai pada Januari 2011, dan telah berhasil diperpanjang hingga January 2016, dengan total pendanaan hingga 13 juta USD.
