Daun Biasa yang Diam-Diam Jadi Incaran Dunia!

Pernah kepikiran nggak, daun yang tiap hari nongol di kuah soto, sayur lodeh, atau rendang itu ternyata jadi rebutan negara-negara maju?
Yup, daun salam — si sederhana yang sering dianggap cuma pelengkap dapur — sekarang lagi dilirik Jepang, Korea Selatan, Australia, sampai Belanda!

Tapi, aromanya yang khas ternyata nggak seharum nasib ekspornya
Bayangin, di tahun 2021 nilai ekspor daun salam Indonesia sempat tembus Rp 4,8 miliar, tapi di 2024 malah merosot jadi sekitar Rp 2 miliar aja. Padahal, permintaan dari luar negeri masih tinggi!

💡 Lho, kenapa bisa begitu?
Masalahnya ada di kualitas dan standar ekspor. Banyak daun salam dikirim dalam kondisi masih lembap, belum dikeringkan sempurna, kadar air tinggi, dan belum lolos uji pestisida. Negara-negara seperti Jepang dan Uni Eropa makin ketat, cuma mau produk yang bersertifikat.

Padahal kalau digarap serius, bisnis daun salam ini potensinya nggak main-main!
Di luar negeri, ekstrak daun salam dipakai buat teh herbal, suplemen pengatur gula darah, bahkan skincare detoks. Di Jepang, produk daun salam lagi benar-benar naik daun — secara harfiah dan ekonomi

🌱 Kandungan aktifnya juga luar biasa:

Flavonoid & eugenol: antioksidan dan antiinflamasi
