kra🌱om has grown into a million-dollar industry.
From remote villages in Indonesia to warehouses across Asia, USA, and Europe, what used to be a local plant is now a global commodity.
But here’s the thing.
In the middle of all this growth, we feel it’s important to ask:
What’s actually happening at the start of the chain?
How’s life for the people who’ve been here long before the world noticed?
The ones who pick the leaves, dry them under the sun, and make sure each batch is clean and consistent.
This year marks
And no, we’re not here to say “look how big we’ve gotten.”
We’re here to take a step back. To slow down a bit.
To see things as they are and archive it.
Because whatever the next 10 years bring, we want to remember this point in time. The real stories. The challenges. The progress.
So we decided to create a short documentary:
“Menyusur Hulu, Memaknai Hilir”
Tracing the upstream, understanding the downstream.
It’s our way of honoring the journey.
Not just ours, but everyone’s.
If we want to keep growing, we have to grow responsibly.
So we kept showing up. We assist farmers in GMP, committed to paying them fairly. We made sure every shipment is legal, traceable, and safe.
Not because it’s trendy, but because it’s what this space needs if we want it to last.
And we do want it to last.
Not just for buyers.
But for farmers, families, and everyone in between.
So here we are, celebrating a decade of doing this work.
And hoping that this small piece of storytelling can open up bigger conversations.
About fairness. About transparency. About the future we want to build.
🎥 The documentary is coming soon.
