• Fully Washed – fermented and washed completely, producing a cleaner and brighter cup profile.
• Natural Process – dried inside the whole coffee cherry, often bringing more fruit character and sweetness.

Processing methods play a major role in shaping the final cup profile, even when the coffee comes from the same origin.

Tried a cup of Kopi O at Hang Tuah Kopitiam, Pecenongan – Jakarta.

In traditional kopitiam style, Kopi O means black coffee — no milk, no sugar.
Just coffee in its simplest form.

One of the staff mentioned the beans might be Robusta from Lampung, one of Indonesia’s well-known Robusta producing regions.

Indonesian Robusta is known for its full body, bold character, and deep chocolate notes, which makes it a great fit for traditional black coffee like this.
