The first-ever “Bali Surfers Gathering” event was a banger...

A very special night of shared stories, old friends, and good times appreciating the roots & the beginnings of the surf culture & community in Bali.

A huge thank you to all of the legends who came out and spent the evening with us including: Ketut Menda, Wayan Gantiyasa, Nyoman Radiasa (Bobby Gland), Wayan Sudirka, Mangku Weta, and many more. A big thanks to The Hydrant for bringing epic music to dance to, as well!

It’s community gatherings like this one that keep the spirit of the island’s surf culture alive, and we’re so grateful to be able to host this one at our Uluwatu surf shop.

🇮🇩 BREAKING NEWS...

Dhea has just made history as the first Indonesian woman to quality for the WSL World Longboard Tour! What a huge achievement for Indonesia and women’s surfing.

When Dhea first joined the Drifter family, we couldn’t get enough of her beaming smile and good vibes both in and out of the water. Now she’s taking that energy to the world stage and we couldn’t be more stoked for her.

Whether you’re winning heats, or just having fun at your local break, we’re proud of you Dhea 👏

Kels somewhere in Hawaii wearing our Melati print.

The Bahasa Indonesia word for the fragrant jasmine blossom found growing around the islands, the Melati flower is honored as a national flower and is often used in decorative ceremonies and in offerings to spirits and deities within Balinese and Javanese traditions.

Off the map and into the rhythm.

A few boards, a good crew, and the long lefts in the archipelago. This is what we came for.
