NEST was delighted to take part in Ardee Community School’s first-ever Earn As You Learn Jobs Expo on May 15th.
It was fantastic to see so many students, parents, local businesses, and organisations coming together to explore apprenticeship and employment opportunities available right here in the region.
Events like this are so important in helping young people connect directly with employers and discover the many different pathways available after school. Through the Safe Pass and Manual Handling courses delivered at NEST, we’re also proud to support many students as they begin that journey into work and apprenticeships.
A big well done to everyone involved in organising such a positive and practical event

We’re delighted to see NEST featured by Connected Hubs as part of the growing conversation around regional enterprise, innovation, and community-led workspace development across Ireland.

The video highlights not just the facilities at NEST, but the wider ecosystem, collaboration, and community that continues to grow here in the North East.

A big thank you to the Connected Hubs team for showcasing what’s happening here in Ardee.

It was a full house at NEST during Local Enterprise Week for our Food Business Beginnings event.
We had a great evening listening to real stories from local producers—how they started, the challenges they faced, and how they’ve adapted along the way.
From shifting to online sales, to focusing on local markets, to growing a business right here in NEST—it was a really honest and insightful conversation.
A big thank you to all our speakers and everyone who came along!
Nikki Campbell (Head of Enterprise, Local Enterprise Office Louth), Rebecca Meade (Food Business Development Officer for Meath & Louth, Boyne Valley Flavours), Gerry Scullion (Founder of King of Kefir), Helen McManus (Founder of Coole Farm), Eimear Reynolds (Founder of Bakealicious)
