Whilst growing up in Georgia, I was surrounded with many amazing creatives and artisans. This left me with a great appreciation for craftsmanship, sparking a passion for beautiful, hand crafted jewellery. My name is Lily Mcdermott and I am the face behind this brand.
12 years ago I moved to Ireland, where I am now living in the midlands with my husband Kevin and our beautiful twins Emily & Harry.

LILI is a handcrafted jewellery brand, designed with fine silver and Cloisonne Enamel. It is one of a kind jewellery with bold and bright colours, where design and craftsmanship meet art, fashion and emotion. Each LILI piece has a meaning and story behind it, which is inspired by nature, simplicity and the world around us. Do you wonder what is cloisonné or what the process of making it involves?

Cloisonné derives its name from the
French word (cloison) which means "compartment" or"partition".

It is an ancient technique of creating designs on precious metal with an enamel paste placed within the compartments. These compartments are made from fine thin silver or gold wires, which are bent into the desired patterns to create mini compartments according to the design.
Next, these partitioned compartments are filled with different colours of enamel paste and then it’s fired in a kiln at temperatures of 750-850°C.
This process is repeated several times.
And lastly,it is polished until the surface is completely smooth.
Finished product is a precious, unique piece of art,inspired by the beauty that surrounds us.
All LILI pieces are handcrafted from the finest silver and enamel✨
