Affectionate tributes are being paid to Athlone man Declan Browne after his death, following a short illness, yesterday (Wednesday).

We regret to inform you of the passing of Declan Browne
Roscommon Road, Athlone, Roscommon / Rathfarnham, Dublin

Peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday 8th March 2023.

Predeceased by his beloved Wife Enda.
Sadly missed by his loving sons David and Daragh, daughters Olga and Emer, brother Dermot and sister Vera, sons-in-law Daragh and Jim, grandchildren James, Andrew, Chelsea, Katie, Kevin, Austin, Mark and Dominic, his long standing friend of twenty years Olga Corrigan, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, many friends and members of Athlone Town Football Club.

May He Rest In Peace

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand on Friday from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in S.S. Peter & Paul's Church at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
