Our Montessori school is based in a community centre with a warm and friendly environment -We use the montessori method of education alongside Aisteir framework. This method aims to assist each child in the total development of the whole child- intellectual, social, emotional, physical, language and cultural skills so that the child will be better prepared for life and able to adjust to the chang
ing conditions of their environment, we enhance learning through offering children fun experiences. This is a child centred and based on mutual respect and co-operation. Our vision is to provide a service where each child is valued and nurtured. The children are given the opportunity to holistically grow and develop within a warm, caring, play environment with adults that recognise, respect, follow and build on the child’s needs and interests. Afterschool -aged 4 1/2 upward. We provide school collections, supervision of homework max 1 hr on this, art and craft, outdoor play, board games, computer IT, we allow children time to play with their friends and choose what they would like to do. We know that every parent's and child's needs can vary according to commitments, if we can help and if there is anything that concerns you, schedules etc,don't hesitate to talk to us about your issues. We are located close to St Ernan’s National School and The Robinsons National school. Based in the Community centre Listminton, Ballintra. We are completely separate from the community centre with our own rooms and toilets. We have a lovely shelter out the back at is safe and secure area for our children. We have a large yard where children can cycle, run and play freely.
