โฐ Less than 100 days to the Income Tax deadlineโฆ but who's counting? ๐
Wellโฆ accountants definitely are! ๐
Me ๐๐ปโโ๏ธfor sure!
The ROS Pay & File deadline is Wednesday, 18th November 2026 and while November might still feel a long way off, anyone who has been through tax season before knows just how quickly those weeks disappear.
If you're self-employed, a sole trader, a landlord or otherwise required to file a Form 11, now is a very good time to start getting organised.
And if you use an accountant, please don't wait until November to send everything in! ๐๐
Getting your information together early means:
โ
More time to make sure everything is included
โ
More time to identify any reliefs or expenses you may be entitled to
โ
More notice of your tax bill
โ
Time to plan for your 2026 Preliminary Tax
โ
And, most importantlyโฆ far less stress for everyone involved!
At FDP Accountants, we're already working through our 2025 Income Tax returns and encouraging our clients to get their information into us as early as possible.
Our advice is simple: don't treat 18th November as the date to start thinking about your tax return treat it as the absolute finish line.
If your 2025 accounts are still sitting in a folder, an inbox, a spreadsheet or possibly a bag of receipts somewhere ๐ now is the time to make a start.
And if you need a hand, we're always happy to have a chat.
