RES is delighted to announce our second Accelerator Programme for Women in Construction & Forestry.

Following the successful conclusion of our first programme, we're excited to launch our next cohort, commencing 1st September.
Designed for women working across the construction and forestry sectors, this transformational programme develops leadership capability, builds confidence, strengthens communication skills, and provides industry-recognised qualifications to support career progression.

Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Here's what one participant from our first programme had to say:

"The modules content and agility explored accountability, creative methods and connection in workplace leadership. The dynamic and small group numbers ensured collaborative learning and sharing worked really well. The trainers were very welcoming, superbly knowledgeable, and imparted very relevant information interactively. The synergy of our group and classes worked really well for both myself and my group. I learned new techniques, gained assertiveness skills and learned a little more about myself."

If you're ready to invest in your future, enhance your leadership skills, and take the next step in your career, we'd love to welcome you to our September cohort.

Find out more and secure your place via the link below. This programme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland, the European Union and Member Companies.

“It is encouraging to see so many individuals intending to upskill or reskill this year, particularly across areas such as digital and AI skills," said Dave Flynn, Director of Business Networks, Skillnet Ireland, commenting on new research from Skillnet Ireland.

Skillnet Ireland's Lifelong Learning and the Future of Work research provides valuable insights into how employees view skills development, career progression, and the changing nature of work. Notably, 96% of respondents said that learning a new skill is either essential or important for their career.

As technology, workplace demands, and skills-needs continue to evolve, upskilling and lifelong learning have never been more important.

The findings highlight the critical role that workforce development plays in helping individuals and organisations remain resilient, adaptable, and competitive in an increasingly dynamic economy.
