Storm Advice;

Electric Gates: With power outages expected, now would be a good time to open your gates and leave secured in the open position. This could avoid you having to operate your manual release system in dangerous weather conditions.

Alarm Systems: With Power outages expected, a mains power fault will appear on your system, entering your code will clear this, your system will stay powered on back up battery for up to 12 hours. If the battery fails the outside siren will start ringing, this is normal as the siren has lost all connection to the alarm and is now in self activation mode which can last up to 3 hours

CCTV Systems: Power cuts can cause issues with CCTv recorders and hard drives in particular can be damaged as the power destabilises. During the Red Warning period you might consider safety shutting down your system and switching it back on when the red warning is lifted

❄️An Icy start to the new year. We sometimes get requests from local farmers to install our CCTV Systems in farm sheds for the calving season.
