Did you know that it's Haemochromatosis Awarness Week?

Haemochromatosis is an inherited condition (passed on from your parents). It causes iron to build up in your body over many years.

You usually start to show symptoms of haemochromatosis between age 30 and 60.

Do you believe in the power of volunteering and community events? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to help grow and support our Community Volunteers Programme across Mayo.

This exciting role involves:
✅ Supporting festivals, sporting events, concerts, clean-ups and community activities
✅ Working with local organisations to develop volunteer opportunities
✅ Recruiting and supporting volunteers
✅ Delivering volunteer training and recognition events
✅ Helping create positive volunteering experiences across the county

The Community Volunteers Programme offers flexible, once-off and short-term volunteering opportunities, making it easier for people to get involved when it suits them.
