⚫ MING MEN ⚫

Another one from earlier this summer that I forgot to post (I'm bad at posting on Instagram! 😅)

Ming Men is a new acupuncture practice set up on Duke St. / Market Square in Castlebar 💆 An early morning installation to avoid traffic, it took a couple of runs up the ladder to get the distinctive circular logo onto its stand off mountings on the wall outside. Routed from black foamalux sheeting, the circular logo is a single piece, with matt metallic gold lettering. At street level, there are two signs, custom made from aluminium composite to fit the door panels, while inside, there are some directional and welcome signs ㊗️

With all the excitement of the All-Ireland in Mayo, here was a fun job that we forgot to post from earlier this summer, involving a different type of football! ⚽

The FIFA World Cup 2026 took place in the USA, Canada and Mexico this summer, and working with Lucozade, the Value Centre in Castlebar asked us to install a promotional mini football pitch, complete with tiny sideline advertising boards and goals in the store 🏟️

While this pitch was far from regulation 😅 and the players were bottles of Lucozade, this eye-catching little pitch did a great job of promotion. An unusual and fun installation, the kind of thing that keeps the job interesting! ⚽🏆

Comhghairdeas Maigh Eo! 🟢🏆🔴

What a crazy couple of weeks it's been, seeing the whole county turn red and green, experiencing the fantastic buzz and anticipation around Castlebar and the whole county in the lead up to the final 🐝
There were some late nights in the workshop, printing signs, banners and stickers, and even a touch of sunburn while working on a couple of Mayo cars 🚘😎 But it was all worth it when it came to seeing the Mayo team playing a thrilling match against Kerry, and ending our county's 75 year wait for Sam Maguire in a spectacular fashion 💚♥️🏐

We're situated quite close to MacHale Park here in Castlebar, and it was nothing short of amazing to be able to attend the team homecoming with over 40,000 other Mayo fans. What an achievement for the Mayo team and staff! 🟩🟥

Thank you to everyone who was into the workshop to stock up on their green and red Good Luck Mayo signs, and the Congratulations Mayo signs this week, how good it feels to be able to print those! 😁 And who knows, maybe we'll do it all again next year? 😉🟢🔴 Maigh Eo Abú!

It's All-Ireland Eve 🏐 And what a lead-up it's been in Mayo, with the whole county suddenly blooming in red and green - flags, bunting, houses, cars, even sheep been given the county colours! 🟩🐑🟥

It's been extremely busy in our workshop, and after a frantic couple of weeks of signs, stickers, vehicles we're out of red and green vinyl and even our ink is running low 🫟 Thank you to everyone who called in, the buzz around Castlebar and Mayo has been great 🐝 Proof again that Mayo's supporters are the best GAA supporters in Ireland! 🏐

Best of luck to the Mayo team tomorrow in Croke Park, we're all hoping that there will be an extra passenger coming home with you after a great match! 🏆🏐🟢🔴

This wonderfully decorated Mayo supporters car visited The Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar, ahead of the big match on Sunday.

There's a new beetle around the county... 🪲🐞

This VW spent a couple of days in the Smart Art Workshop last week to be fitted out in a similar fashion to it's older sister back in 2017, with a checked red and green pattern 🟩🟥 Mayo GAA crests, a 2026 Team photo, and of course, a few Sam Maguires 🏆

To say it's visually striking is an understatement! So keep an eye out for this soft-top beetle, it could pop anywhere between Keem and Croke Park! 🚘

It's been a hectic week in the Smart Art workshop, with nothing but red and green signs, banners and stickers going out the door. Thanks to everyone for their patience and for coming up with some truly unique ways of showing their support for Mayo. No doubt about it, Mayo GAA has the best supporters in Ireland! 💚♥️

Mayo back into our first All-Ireland since 2021... we'll be stocking up on red and green! 🇵🇹🇧🇩🇧🇾🇧🇫

Renault Trafic leaving the workshop recently kitted out with livery and reflective chevrons for Tom Denning Haulage and Plant Hire 🚚

The van livery follows the same basic style as every other vehicle in the Denning fleet - green and orange striping along the sides and front, green lettering, and the harp and shamrock at the front. The livery is flexible enough to adapt to almost any vehicle, be it a van, car or truck, and gives the Denning fleet a distinctive look out on the road. 🪉☘️

Meanwhile at the rear of the van, chevrons fill two-thirds of the doors, combining fluorescent yellow for daytime visibility, and reflective red for nighttime visibility. Vehicles equipped with chevrons like these can be seen by other motorists from a greater distance, especially if they are carrying out roadside work or working in low-light conditions ☀️
