Works progressing well - New housing Development at Oak Tree Park, Swellan, Co.Cavan.

Colum Smith Quantity Surveyors Ltd are providing procurement and costing services including valuations to Developer Latt Properties Ltd on this fine Development.

This project includes:

18 Units in total consisting of three-bedroom, two-storey units; two two-bedroom, two-storey units and two two-bed, one-storey houses with and without attic accommodation.

Existing entrance to the site and the provision of new footpaths to link with the existing public paths including landscaped communal open spaces as part of the development, connection to public services, foul, surface water, watermain, attenuation tank and all ancillary and associated site developments including a boundary wall, retaining walls, fencing, landscaped areas and gateway, etc

Project completion and handover. Enterprise rent-a-car development in Coolock, Dublin

Colum Smith Quantity Surveyors Ltd provided the client Enterprise rent-a-car with a full detailed BOQ for tendering purposes. Michael Fitzpatrick Architects Ltd and Alan Traynor Consultant Engineers Ltd provided Architectural, structural and Civil drawings for this fine development.

Extent of works entail: The reduced level dig for proposed modular unit and road areas totalling an area of 2,546m2. Excavation of pad foundations for proposed new structural steel frame. New steel frame. External works involved new entrance gates, kerbing, over 1,013m2 of asphalt road extension, 840m2 of new permeable paving, line marking, watermain extension, french drain, surface water drainage, Silt separator, petrol interceptor, hydrobrake manhole, storm & foul manholes, stormwater detention pond, drainage channels, electrical ducting for power, street lighting, CCTV and associated lamp standard bases. All connections into existing live mains. Landscaping works including cycle stands, bollards, etc

Project near completion, No.67 Market Street, Cootehill, Co.Cavan.

Colum smith Quantity Surveyors Ltd provided a BOQ, procurement and costing services for Galetech Sustainable Living Ltd to complete this fine project.

This project involves:

Alteration and change of use to No.67 Market Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Extensive demolition works to rebuild the front elevation, roof and internal walls along a busy town street with a complete refurbishment of the rear and front buildings all to provide 5 No. Apartments and 4 No. two storey Maisonettes (9 No. total residential units) & Commercial unit over an area of approx 7,500 sq.ft. Refurbishment works involved complete stripping of existing floors, walls, ceilings, windows & doors, internal structures, demo works and construction of new walls, floors, roof and associated finishes throughout. Extensive hard & soft landscaping including completion of all foul, surface water, watermain, ESB, Fibre and associated civil works.

Colum smith Quantity Surveyors Ltd provided procurement and costing services for Martin Lynch Construction and Developments Ltd to help them successfully secure this beautifully designed home. We are managing the commercial end of this project including monthly valuations to final account stage.

This project involves:

Construction of a 4,350 sq.ft dwelling, 2nr outbuilding (Garden store and Workshop) both 194 sq.ft each, all external works including site works,, drainage, treatment plant, entrance walls and gates, driveway, patio areas, low level screen walls, traditional railings and landscaping.
