There is an increase in Ransom Ware Trojan attacks at the moment. This Ransom ware will encrypt all your important files and documents then try to charge you to have them released.
PLEASE back up all your data where possible "Data does not exist unless it is present in two or more locations "
If you can't back up your data to an external device at least create a restore point.
Keep your virus protection up to date
Do not open any email attachment unless you are sure it is genuine .
And most importantly..DO NOT PAY THE RANSOM..!
if you do you may get your files back.. you may not. It is all down to how honest the criminals are..
