The company was founded by John Smyth , former Garda
Sergeant who served in An Garda Siochana for 40 years. He served as Traffic Corps Sergeant for 12 years and 6 years as a Forensic Collision Investigator. For the last 3 years he held the position of Senior Forensic Collision Investigator in An Garda Siochana. John has been involved in the investigation and reconstruction of a large number of fatal and serious injury collisions. He has also given evidence as an Expert witness in the Coroner's Court, District Court, Circuit Court, Circuit Criminal Court and High Court. In addition to holding a B.A. in Public Management, he also holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Police Forensic Collision Investigation. He has completed courses in Pedestrian & Pedal Cycle Collisions with AITS and in Forensic Analysis of Vehicle Light Bulbs with Sheffield Hallam University. He is also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
