Liscarroll Engineering is Irelands leading manufacturer and supplier of Milk Cooling equipment. Our factory which is located in Liscarroll, Co. Cork manufactures Milk Colling Tanks and Silos mainly for the Irish and UK markets. Due to expansion we are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician.
The Role:
• Physical assembly, wiring and testing of control panels
• Provide ongoing technical and sales support
• Installation of control panels onto equipment
• Testing to ensure proper operation and implementing quality control measures
• Provide technical training and support to customers, dealers, installers and sales team
• Responsible for the electrical maintenance of Plant and Equipment
• Troubleshooting panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors
• Support and assist field service requirements planned and unplanned
• Development and maintenance of technical training and product manuals
• Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and/modifications
• Ability to read and develop schematic drawings
Requirements:
• Electrical Technician with at least 4 years’ experience working with control panels
• Ideally would have an understanding of refrigeration
• Prepare to travel (5% of time) to farms in Ireland and the UK predominantly to troubleshoot and train dealers and installers
• Experience in supporting customers and sales activities
• Must have a good understanding of PLC hardware applications and usage
• Fluency in English is essential
• Strong documentation skills
