Another milestone in our cleanup of our family forest which was flattened in storm Eoin. William Noble and his team chipping up brash for energy use .Hopefully will get re planted this spring ( if rain ever stops !).

No price gouging in this form if local renewable energy source. Gives local jobs too ! What’s not to like about firewood that is WFQA guaranteed under 20% moisture

Down our family forest today. After walking through our Oak plantation I looked out over to next field.This was an Ash 6.5 Ha plantation which because of Ash dieback was replanted 5 years ago with Sitka ,red Oak and Cherry. If you have infected crop get it removed and replanted. There is a removal, replanting grant and compensation available. Better to be looking at a crop growing than dying . Like our other woodland decimated by last years storm it will grow another crop of varied trees again.
