After some detailed reflection and consideration my mud has settled. I would now just like to advise my online friends that I am uninstalling Facebook and associated apps. The potential benefits are far outweighed by the negative mindless invasive time wasting shallow nature and process of it all. I know who my real friends are. You can always ring me, call me, text me or why not call around for a chat. I suspect I may have more time myself for some real conversation and real engagement. Good luck to you all. In order to give some meager hope for the future, we need to challenge a sick society that burns $90m worth of Burberry merchandise. We need to begin to challenge an economic, educational, social system that promotes toxic neoliberal, capitalist values of mindless consumption and materialism.

Day 4. St Declan’s Way. Completed St Declan’s Way yesterday and enjoyed the most sensational swim in Ardmore after a long 8 1/2 hour day in blistering weather from Cappaquin to the finish. A decent 25 miles. A wonderful mindful walk. More later when I get time to digest it and my mud settles. Thanks to all who supported MyMind.
