Boomerang Recycling Boomerang Enterprises helps businesses to dispose of post-consumer mattresses in a responsible and transparent manner.

Boomerang Recycling provides a completely traceable, sustainable, dismantling and recycling of mattresses. The mattresses are deconstructed and stripped down. The materials are sorted in their various component parts. The Boomerang project is working on new ways to recycle component parts of mattresses, particularly the textiles which range from horsehair, to foam, polyester and cotton. We accept

mattresses from business clients from both public and private organisations. The cost for 100% recycling of all mattresses and bed bases supplied will depend on our consideration of three core measurable elements. When calculating the fixed price:
• QUANTITY OF MATTRESSES & BED BASES SUPPLIED
• FREQUENCY OF DELIVERY
• DISTANCE FROM OUR RECYCLING FACILITY

TBT: Throw back Thursday to our launch day in July 2014, Boomerang has come such a long way since then and we need you're support to go the full distance!

Boomerang is a new recycling project based in Ballyvolane Cork that deconstructs post-consumer mattresses in order to divert for re-use or recycling. Boomerang also provides local employment for a Project Manager and currently 6 TUS Scheme Workers.
