From Lift to Right is a Manual Handling Training & Risk Assessment company set up by Alan O'Mahony in 2012 to provide training in manual handling techniques for employees in companies and organisations of all sizes! Using the slogan 'Use Your Head, Not Your Back!' Alan puts the emphasis on the individual to think through the process of manual handling, and how to assess the task at hand, rather t

han rush into it in an unsafe manner and risk injury. Alan is a fully trained and qualified Manual Handling Instructor, and also holds a Diploma in Safety Management from The Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), and has completed the Higher Diploma in Safety, Health & Welfare at Work in UCC. Having sustained a back injury as a result of road traffic accident several years ago, Alan can very much empathise with all those who suffer from back pain and is very adept at modifying the training to accomodate people from all walks of life with varying degrees of fitness and flexibility!
