Have you fallen into the hustle trap?

This week on Virtual Ventures, we're talking about income ceilings as a solo Virtual Assistant and what your options actually look like when you reach one.

One of the most common responses to hitting an income ceiling is to work longer hours, take on more clients, and try to push through. In this clip, Cat talks about why that approach can lead to burnout, resentment, and feeling trapped in your business.

Join us as we talk about what income ceilings can look like, how to recognise when you've reached one, and some of the different ways you can continue growing without simply working more.

Things we hear every year during the SVAI Awards submission process πŸ‘€

πŸ’ "I'm not established enough yet."
πŸ’ "My business isn't big enough."
πŸ’ "I only have a few clients."
πŸ’ "There are people who deserve it more than me."
πŸ’ "I don't think I've achieved enough."

Here's the interesting thing...
Over the years, we've heard versions of these statements from people who went on to become finalists and even award winners!!

The SVAI Awards have never been about having the biggest audience, the biggest team or the most followers.
They're about recognising the professionalism, standards, growth and impact that exist across our industry every day.

If you've been thinking about entering but keep finding reasons not to, we'd encourage you to take another look.
You might be more ready than you think!

One of the things we hear most often from entrants is:
"I didn't realise how much I'd actually achieved until I completed the submission form."

While being recognised by your industry is a fantastic achievement, there are plenty of benefits to entering the SVAI Awards long before the finalists and winners are even announced!

The submission process encourages you to reflect on your business, recognise your progress, celebrate your work and acknowledge the impact you're having on your clients.

Whether you're entering for the first time or returning again this year, taking the time to step back and look at everything you've built can be incredibly valuable.

Take a look through the carousel for a few reasons why entering might be worth considering☝️
