• I have been working full time as a Clinical Psychologist for the past 25 years having completed my post-graduate training in both Ireland and the US.
• I have been Clinical Director at the Cork Marriage Counselling Centre since 1990.
• I was founder of the Cork Domestic Violence Project in 19
92. I was founder of the Association of Agency Based Counselling in Ireland in 2009.
• I have been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the Family Support Agency by consecutive government ministers for a period of eight years.
• I have completed research on marital breakdown for the FSA in 2008 and on Domestic Violence in 1992.
• I have written two books published by Gill & McMillan titled The Courage To Be Happy and The Courage To Love.
• I have presented over 100 workshops and seminars on a variety of topics related to my work around Ireland for many years.
• I have been writing a weekly column on Family Psychology in the Evening Echo Examiner newspaper since 2008.
• I have a love of art, sport, poetry, personal development, and everyday philosophy.
