A newborn photo shoot is a totally different shoot from the regular family photo session. We will use the room in your house that has the most natural light.

Whereas you can relax, play and have fun with your family in any setting, the newborn needs a lot more attention and care. Therefore I always plan more time when photographing newborns, so we can relax, feed when necessary and allow the baby to settle at his or her own pace. For a newborn photo session I will come to your house, especially when the baby is only a few days old it is best for mom &

baby to be in their own environment. I will bring some blankets and backdrops, and if you have anything that you’d like to be included in the session, please make sure you have it all ready. This is most pleasing for photos, but also best for baby (imagine being not even 2 weeks old and having flash after flash in your eyes!) Make sure that there is some space near the window where we can set up a little area for baby to be comfortable. Crank up the heat in your house, or use a little space heater (or even a hairdryer) to heat up the air. When adults are sweating, the baby is usually most comfortable! Something else that helps the baby to be relaxed is ‘white noise’. There are some good white noise internet websites or even iPhone apps! An added bonus of the hairdryer is that is already produces some form of white noise:-)

Try to feed the baby about 30 mins prior to my arrival. He/she will be sleepy by the time we are getting ready to shoot and this will make it easier for everybody. Don’t be worried when the baby is fussy though. We’ll take some time to relax and feed if needed so that she/he can settle. Babies safety goes first, always! If you are not comfortable with a certain pose, let me know. You are always around to hold & support the baby and calm him or her when needed. If the baby gets fussy, we take a break, no problem. You can’t expect your 10 day old to be a natural model:-)

🌸💙 Grateful for the kindness and support! 💙🌸

I cannot find the words to express how overwhelmed I am with gratitude for all the love, kind words, and encouragement I have received since starting my work experience at Keohanes Funeral Home. From the bottom of my heart, I wanted to thank each and every one of you!

None of this would have been possible without the support of my extraordinary friends and family. Your words of encouragement, your virtual hugs, and your belief in me have given me the strength to do this.

As I step into this new role, My goal is to provide solace and support during what can be the most difficult times in people's lives.

I also want to take a moment to tell you about John Keohane, the incredible person who founded this business 11 years ago. John is someone who puts his heart and soul into everything he does. He is an absolute gem and will go above and beyond to help anyone in their hour of need.

I have personally witnessed his kindness and empathy when dealing with the loss of a loved one. John's patience, understanding, and compassion are second to none. It's truly inspiring to see his dedication to providing exceptional care during such difficult times.

I feel incredibly grateful to have this chance to work alongside John. His expertise and commitment to serving others are truly remarkable. If you ever find yourself in need, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John and Keohanes Funeral Directors to look after your loved one.

So once again thank you all for your support and understanding as I embark on this new chapter. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you along the way.

Long post but please read. 🙏

I hope this post finds you all in good health and high spirits as we approach the festive season. Today, I have something important to share with all of you that might come as a bit of a surprise. After much contemplation, I have decided not to offer Christmas photos this year.

Before I explain the reason behind this decision, let me emphasize how grateful I am for the support and encouragement you all have shown throughout my photography journey. Your kind words, likes, and shares have boosted my confidence and passion, which leads me to the exciting news I'm about to share.

Recently, I have been given a wonderful opportunity to embark on a new chapter in my life. I have started work experience at Keohanes Funeral Home. Some of you might be surprised by my choice, but it has always been a hidden passion of mine. This role allows me to offer support, compassion, and guidance to grieving families during their toughest times. It's a meaningful and humbling experience that I am eager to explore further.

While I am thrilled about this newfound path, it means that I won't be able to dedicate my time to capturing your beloved Christmas moments through photography this year. However, I promise to keep you all updated on my progress and experiences as I navigate this uncharted territory.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to those of you who were eagerly waiting for their yearly Christmas photoshoot. I truly appreciate your understanding and support during this transition phase. My focus may have shifted, but you all remain an essential part of my life journey.

Please continue to follow me on this new adventure, as I document my professional growth and share the valuable lessons I encounter along the way. Your continued presence and encouragement mean the world to me, and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being a part of my photography journey, and now, for carrying that support over to this exciting new opportunity. Sending warm wishes and heartfelt gratitude to you all!

Little Annabelle came to see me. She was so alert but content to just lie there and let me take her photo. She also brought along her big brother who adores her.

I'm finally getting around to posting some photos. I have been a bit busy lately.
A few weeks ago my nephew Darren & Amy with Allie and baby Mia. Mia was so good for her photoshoot and she is so beautiful. I would say that though after all, she is my 1st Grand-niece... I didn't want her to go home.

Unfortunately our posts are not being seen much anymore due to Facebook algorithm.

It switches up and changes so frequently I just can't keep up.

Most posts are only seen by 20 or even less people at the moment.... as a small business owner it is so disheartening :(
