Here's how I started my online side hustle journey...

I watched the 90 minute, no obligation video and reflected if this one was for me. I had the strong desire to change and to chase my dreams for myself and for my family. So I took action!

Why I said Yes?
My big WHY is my Family.

I want more time with my husband,
I don't want to miss any milestones of my kids,
I want to travel and see the world with them without worrying about our expenses and draining out our savings.
I want to continue working on my pursuit for personal growth and at the same time work this sidehustle on my own time.

I've got my laptop open, my list of things to do, and the best intentions.

Then something doesn't work. An app decides to act up. I click the wrong thing. And suddenly, I'm mentally this cat. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

I love working on my laptop, but let's be honestโ€ฆ even when you're doing something you enjoy, there are moments when you just want to bang on the keyboard and call it a day. ๐Ÿคฃ

Deep breath. Sip of coffee. Carry on.

Excuse the labada sa background. Hindi po ito lifestyle shoot. Real life lang tayo dito. Hahaha!

After classes, errands, kids, housework, and two nights na sunod-sunod ang ganap, I finally had a moment to breathe.

And I had to remind myself:

Chic, slow down muna.

Hindi lahat kailangang tapusin ngayong minuto. Hindi lahat kailangang habulin nang sabay-sabay.

Sometimes, you just need to sit still for a while and appreciate where you are.

Yung mga araw na magulo? Part of the story.

Yung mga pagod na akala mo hindi mo na kaya? Look at you, kinakaya mo naman pala.

Yung maliliit na wins na minsan hindi mo na napapansin kasi busy ka na naman sa susunod na kailangan gawin? Celebrate those, too. ๐Ÿ’›

Life abroad, motherhood, online teaching, building a businessโ€ฆ hindi naman laging aesthetic ang behind-the-scenes. Minsan, labada at puyat talaga. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But I'm grateful I get to keep learning and building something for myself alongside everything else that matters to me.

And if there's one thing this journey keeps teaching me, it's that you don't have to have a perfect, quiet life to start building a different future. You start with the life you have.
