“How to make my business more profitable?“, is one question you will ask yourself when a day-to-day operation in your business is stunting your business growth.

The fancy gibberish professionals use to describe this is “business operational efficiency issues”. The result is frustration and not really knowing what to do about it. Most business owners and their teams don’t really know how to describe it either.

Entrepreneurs turn to strategies that will increase their productivity out of frustration. This does work in the short term. However, it is like trying to scoop out water filling your boat instead of plugging the hole.

In all fairness, this happens in every business regardless of type or location. Entrepreneurs especially express a sense of shame because they are supposed to know how to fix it. They end up getting more frustrated because the “productivity whip” gets taken out with good intentions. This makes sure the horrible cycle repeats.

If you are a brand new startup, planning your business or just setting up, you are in an excellent position! You can avoid all these issues in the future because your day-to-day operations are not so entrenched or not at all.

What makes addressing this so difficult is that each business is as unique as the entrepreneur who started the business. There is no one-size-fits-all solution here.

Where do you find the solution? YouTube is a good source. However, Business Operational Efficiency professionals tend not to have YouTube Channels, blogs and those types of things. Businesses rarely know what they are looking for or what to search for.

Poor advice is expensive advice, especially for your business. It costs you time, money, effort and human resources. Good advice helps you get to the point. It saves you all those resources or minimises what you spend on solving your problem.

The first thing you have to learn and then accept as an entrepreneur is that, the most powerful and unique person you can be is YOU.

People often feel what is termed as "imposter syndrome". There is a solid reason it is such a wide spread phenomenon. What you have to remember is that nobody has the right to dictate to you who you are as a person. You have the right to exercise your free will as to being who you are and making your decisions.

What you have to realise is that other people WILL relate to you, they WILL like you, they Will support you. However, if you never tell them or show them, how will they know?

There is no bravery without fear. You have to use the fear as fuel. Be brave so people can love and support you. Firmly dig in your heels and say: "This is who I am!".
