Oop sorry for lack of updates for a while, been picking away at some gorgeous little figs I've finished the skin and hair on today and have small updates on a few different models! My new aquarium arrived a bit over 3 weeks ago and inhaled all my spare time to get it stable and cycled, but I have more time to paint again now ;)

Giving Eisenhorn and the burrds a gentle blow dry to speed up their wash drying. Row of paints at the back right is the pallete I'm sticking with for Eisen, drink on the left is my Pepsi cherry I've washed a brush in three times already this session.

May have to stop using IFTTT. The Facebook connection has been spotty since FB changed their rules for pushes from private accounts and half my posts dont reach my secondary media.

Gonna try out the push from Instagram option today but if it doesn't make an actual photo post here, I dun wan it.

Carapace base down, and starting highlights. This will be brought up to a neon turquoise at the high points, had to stop where I did as I was getting a bit blurry eyed which isint great for stripes!

Airbrushing finished on the neon Haruspex, next up is to matte black him entirely, and then start blocking in thr skin and carapace patterns. Carapace will be turquoise patterns, skin patterns I'm thinking blue, but he's going to stay mostly black.

Now to shade it down in the recesses, bring it back up to neon yellow after, and start on the black to red fade claws ;)...
